I’ve always been captivated by the beauty of stories—those raw, heartfelt moments that make life unforgettable. Weddings are where these moments shine the brightest, and being able to document them is nothing short of magic. It’s not just about preserving memories; it’s about creating something timeless that allows you to relive the emotions, joy, and love for years to come.

I’VE ALWAYS HAD A DEEP LOVE FOR ART
You might be wondering about the difference between my last name, McGregor, and my business name, "Britton Fuglseth Design." Let me explain. I recently married the love of my life and took on the McGregor name. However, when I started my business, I was Britton Fuglseth—a name with deep personal significance, as it was given to me by my father and represents an important part of my identity.
To honor my family and the connection I have to the Fuglseth name, I decided to keep it as my business name. This choice allows me to preserve a piece of that identity while embracing the new chapter of my life as a McGregor.
Now, a little about me: I’m a passionate advocate for agriculture and a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota, Crookston, where I earned a degree in Agricultural Education with an emphasis on natural resources and agricultural sciences. You might be wondering how I ended up in photography. Interestingly, it all started with my high school agriculture teacher.
From a young age, I loved the arts. I remember secretly borrowing the family camcorder to create YouTube videos and sneaking my sister's camera to take selfies (a confession I’ve never made until now!). My passion grew when I took a high school web design and video editing class. I became captivated by videography and its ability to tell meaningful stories. My agriculture teacher, who also ran a photography business, hired me to assist her with wedding videos. That experience lit the spark that eventually led me here.
Turning my creative dreams into reality always felt like a distant goal. But one day, I came across a quote that changed everything: "Your dreams could change the world." Those words inspired me to take a leap of faith and start Britton Fuglseth Design. Today, my mission is simple: to create meaningful work that leaves a positive impact on people's lives.
There’s a quote by Erma Bombeck that resonates deeply with me: “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, ‘I used everything that you gave me.’” Photographs are more than just images; they’re moments preserved, memories that outlast time.
While I love capturing these memories, what drives me runs deeper. Life is unpredictable and often unfair—we are all living on borrowed time.
I constantly ask myself, "What is my purpose on Earth?" While the answer evolves, one thing remains certain: I want to bring light to others.
I believe everyone deserves to feel good, beautiful, confident, and loved. When I say "everyone deserves memories," it’s about more than just photos. It’s about offering people the chance to experience those feelings through my work. My talent is my way of touching lives, and I want to use it to make a difference.
